ZONE CONFERENCE- Phx. S./Phx/ Glendale 2/14/12

We celebrated Valentines Day by going to ZONE CONFERENCE!  We were greeted by our TEMPLE MISSIONARIES, The Winchells, who joined their daughter at conference with us for the day.  It was so great to have them there!

We also got some valentines from a couple of our Elders, who made them all by themselves!
Thanks Elders Bruening and Hafoka!
We enjoyed so much having President Porter
come join us to represent his stake in this zone.  He gave a wonderful talk and encouraged and built up the missionaries as he shared his powerful testimony.
We had our dental health skit with the Assistants, and Sister Taylors dental health and budgeting presentation.  Oh, the life skills we are learning on a mission.
The sisters that prepared the meal today were so enthusiastic to have the missionaries come!  The decorations were fun, the food was delicious and all were filled with the spirit of missionary work!
After our meal, we sang to the sisters to thank them.  Our mission fight song is always a favorite.  I love seeing our newer missionaries get right into it!  We have a great sense of unity in this mission...and oh how they can sing!
We celebrated our January and February birthdays with the traditional treat and picture and song!  Lots in these zones!
We had 3 of our 4 ANDERSONS in one zone!  Had to get a picture of that!  Now if we could only get our Johnsons and Johnstons together...
We heard departing testimonies from 5 missionaries in these zones.  They will return home next Tuesday.  Oh how the time flies!!
We wrapped up the day on a spiritual note again with President Taylors presentation about unity.  The strength of companionship is truly a miracle!
All missionaries signed their zones UNITY BOARD after hammering the two boards together with nails.

IT WAS A GREAT VALENTINES DAY IN ZONE CONFERENCE!
