Buckeye/Goodyear & W Maricopa Zone Digital Training 11/13

We ended our days of training with the Buckeye/Goodyear and West Maricopa Zones.
President Taylor spoke to these zones about the importance of what they are participating in...not just the digital devices, but the whole HASTENING of the work.  It is a more focused emphasis on MEMBERS doing the finding.  It is about THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX but within the focus of our purpose as missionaries.

 It has been and always will be about being even more TRUSTED as we try to be the most obedient we can to all commandments of God and to missionary rules.
It is about GOOD/ BETTER/BEST use of our time...and these devices will help with that for sure.
Our AREA BOOKS and PLANNERS are all online.
We can access ward directories and map out where everyone lives so we can know who lives near where we are at any time.

These missionaries were pretty excited about getting these tools.  They have proven themselves trustworthy.  The Missionary Department has been watching this mission for a long time to see if we were a good fit for rolling these new tools out.
We have been testing digital devices in one zone since May.  We have all been online proselyting since August.  We are ready to go digital.

 Here are these two zones all excited to show what they can now use to hasten the work of the Lord.

Now, the set up took a bit of effort.  It was interesting trying to get all these devices up and running. We had the wifi pretty stressed in this building and missionaries all over trying to get a good signal.
However, in good time, we got it all done.
These elders had their "PINK CARDS" with them in pockets since they left their tables to get a better signal..."pink cards up" meant you were in the process of one of the set-up tasks. "Pink cards down" meant you were complete.
Parents and Friends, missionary work has not changed.  What we teach is still the same.  True principles are still true principles.
What has changed is the urgency to complete what the Lord is asking us to do.  What has changed is the means we have to spread the Gospel to EVERY nation, kindred tongue and people.  I know who is in charge...who inspires good men to develop great tools we can use.
Yes, I know that Satan uses the same tools...he always has.  But I also know who will win when it comes to the final count.  Righteousness will prevail.  And the APM will do their part to try to have more people on the winning team.
Let's start this month being thankful for what we have all been blessed with.  We thank you for your wonderful, dedicated and loving children.  They are a DELIGHT to be with!  We never tire of being with them.  They are not perfect, but neither are we.  But we are all in this together to do our best to learn and grow and share what we know.  We are thankful to know the Doctrine of Christ and how it is perfect and how it can change lives.  HAVE  A GREAT WEEK!  Sister Taylor
