FEBRUARY VISITORS 2014

The month started with some special visits from special people in our lives.

First we had one of our adorable Sister missionaries that we had to say an early good-bye to when she was switched into the Tempe Mission in July 2013.
Jennifer Greenwood made a big difference for good in both our mission and in Tempe!  It was SO GOOD to see her after her mission and to meet her folks!  She will now fly with them to meet HER TWIN over in Spain completing her mission there this week!
Sunday we had a visit from one of our great returned elders, Blake Heiner and his new wife Julliane...I may be spelling this wrong...and we just loved talking with them!  So fun to hear their story and to see how they are basing their new family on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We also had another dear friend, Tye Barrett stop over on Sunday...and think we may see him again this week, so no picture yet!

Later that week we also had a visit from a couple more great mission friends.
Cameron Colovich and Adriane brought over Shaun Hampton for a visit.  This is his second visit to see us and we just loved getting caught up with all of them!

This weekend we had more special visitors.

We had been looking forward to "The Hermanas" coming to see us for a long time!
Left to right: Kelsie Taylor, Jessica Scott, Amy Folsom, Arianne Holmes with President and myself.  We had them over for lunch and we laughed so hard the entire time they were here!

I think you can see from this photo of Kelsie how silly they get when they get laughing!

It meant everything to us to have them stop by.  They are all doing SO GREAT in their lives and their missions have blessed them so much!
We are just grateful that they are part of our lives!

Today we had a visit from Matt Hilton again, this time with his family in tow.
We love meeting families too!  It gives us a chance to see even more how come our missionaries are the incredible people that they are.
His sister Morgan is also putting in her papers for her mission next week...here's hoping she gets called to the APM!!!

How great is it to have returned missionaries living and loving what they taught for so long here?  All of them come and tell us how grateful they are that they served here...that they learned to love obedience.

This is how Heavenly Father feels about us here on earth...I promise he feels the same way when we embrace the counsel he sends us through the scriptures and prophets.  Stories of willful disobedience make him sad and lives of obedience and repentance make him happy.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR VISITS!  WE LOVE YOU ALL VERY MUCH!
