Our wonderful office couples have a monthly thing going...a potluck lunch to which they plan to invite key Mission support people.
Today's lunch turned into a Hawaiian Luau complete with seashells and citrus and fig leaves for the centerpieces.
Our guests of honor were the Broadbents, a talented couple who live nearby and who love BIKES. Brother Broadbent services and repairs bikes for many of our missionaries using his own time! We appreciate him so very much! He and his sweet wife are a welcome addition to the friends we have here in the Arizona Phoenix Mission!
Elder Rodgers and President Taylor could not resist trying to blow the conch shell as a horn...both did an impressive job.
And someone snapped this photo of me behind President's desk...maybe the only time you will see me there!
We were having a planning meeting and dealing with mission issues throughout the day, and such is life in the mission!
There is always multi-tasking to be done!
