Thursday we met with the Phoenix North Zone for Interviews.
We loved getting there and checking in our all our missionaries getting ready for car inspections.
The fearless zone leaders, Elders McBride and Hastings had some excuse about a branch falling on their car...looked like someone sat on it and elbowed it good!
Love it when Sisters do all those car mechanical things!
Way to go Sister Murdock.
And Elder Powers was in his element checking off things with their vehicle!

When we got going in our meeting, the zone leaders led us in a role playing activity about obedience that was really eye opening.
They led a wonderful discussion on the blessings of obedience in our lives and helped us understand more of the "whys" in obedience.
We need to understand this because it is what we teach our investigators and what we need to LIVE FOR LIFE! Or in other words, how we endure to the end well!
I thought Elder Hastings did a great job drawing this picture of an onion and the "layers of obedience" that President Taylor taught a year ago when we arrived here in the APM and that needed to be taught to all the new missionaries we have received since then.
Elder Rodgers pronounced many vehicles winners in this zone beginning with Sisters Murdock and Pilcher.
Elder McBride got to hold both certificates since Elder Hastings was in interviews at the time.
Elders Barber and Powers were the next recipients.
And finally, Elders Wheelwright and Ingersoll got the last award.

Elder Ware got to celebrate his July birthday along with share his departing testimony with his zone. He is a wonderful young man and such a blessing to our mission!
Elder McBride...pardon the fuzzy picture...also will leave us the beginning of August. It is hard to believe that some of our dear friends will be completing their fulltime service and moving on to lifetime service!!!
We watched the movie "17 Miracles" as we have done in each zone so far. It was a surprise to the missionaries that we got to do this, and we watched with purpose...and gained so much testimony from it! Oh how Missionary Work, The Doctrine of Christ and Being a Pioneer go hand in hand! It was a spiritual feast to be sure!
