We started off July with a bang! Zone Leader Council is always an energetic exchange of ideas and all around great way to start off the month!
We had 4 zone leaders with July Birthdays so that was fun! Happy Birthday to Elders M. Young, A. Johnson, Pierson and Bartleson.
Lunch was a traditional July 4th BBQ...except that President Taylor did the BBQing the day before because we would never have time to grill and keep up with feeding all 24 elders along with Mission Presidency.
They loved having corn on the cob and the works!
Good times in the kitchen of the Mission Home.
And surprisingly, they just head out into the heat of the summer to eat outside and it does not phase them!
All zone leaders who were new to the mission since President Taylor and I arrived a little over a year ago got a token ONION and the little lesson on the layers of OBEDIENCE that go along with it! We can never talk about it enough, the blessings of obedience!!!
