Zone Leader Council Sept 2012

PLEASE CLICK ON THIS LINE FOR ALL PHOTOS OF THIS EVENT!

We start each month with ZONE LEADER COUNCIL.  Each of our 11 zones has 2 leaders who come and learn and "Council" together.
We have THE BEST zone leaders ever!

And this meeting was fantastic!  Lots of short talks, presentations on Mission Training Plan focus and discussion on how to apply what we are trying to learn...and how to be accountable for getting that same information and same enthusiasm to the rest of each zone.
Today was Elder Lancasters BIRTHDAY!  What a fun birthday to be at a Zone Leader Council and get your own little cake and get sung to!  Not to mention getting lunch and a spiritual feast!
Front:  Sister Taylor, Elders Alvis and Barrett  Middle: President Taylor, Elders Whipple, Griessman, Bartlett,M. Peterson, McCauley, Brame, Hamblin, Neves, K. Gerber, Bartleson, M. Young, Lynn, Sister Turville and Elder Brown.  Back: Elders Griffin, Lancaster, Bolton, Dye,Weston, Pollmeier, Condie, Hastings and Baldree.

I LOVE this photo!
It shows the love that our dear friends, the Williams have for the missionaries...and the love that the missionaries have for them!

The Williams have been Secretaries in the Mission Presidency for about 17 months now...which means, they have about one month left to serve with us and we just appreciate them for WHO THEY ARE so much!
Here we have 5 new Zone Leaders!
Elders Dye, Weston, Lancaster, Bolton and K. Gerber.

They are READY in so many ways to serve their zones!  We have watched them grow up over the past 14 months in preparation for these callings. They will lift where they stand!
Lunch is a really big thing at ZLC.  The elders cannot wait to see what we are having for lunch and they enjoy it so much that it is a delight to cook for them!

Today was Hawaiian haystacks...lots of food piled high always works really well!

Elder Weston shows a completed product...oh yeah!
We have elders all over the house...and even out on the patio in the heat...does not phase these Arizonians!!
At the end of a VERY spiritual day...where our spiritual eyes were opened to the potential to grow and serve better...we had departing testimonies from Elders Greissman and Barrett.  They are ready to serve in other leadership positions in new areas back home!  They will be dearly missed!
