DEPARTING MISSIONARIES SEPT 2013

It does not get any easier...not that we ever thought it would.

We said goodbye, at least for a while, to 5 dear friends this week.  It seemed like they came both yesterday and forever ago at the same time!

We will miss seeing Elders Bradfield, Marble and Sisters Culler, Larson and Follett regularly.  They have all been incredible forces for good in this mission, and leaders among their peers.


They were pretty determined to stay!
At one point, they lay down in the middle of the road and refused to move!

 We love hosting these dear sons and daughters in the mission home the night before they leave for home.
It is one of the sweetest times we share with them.  This size group was particularly tender and intimate.  We have a dinner with the Presidency, a beautiful testimony where they share a 1-2 minute testimony of their Savior Jesus Christ, and some heartfelt advice from the Presidency on anything they want to talk about.  They had really good questions!

 and we end the night with a little FHE including song, lesson and game...which is always DON'T EAT PETE!  Someone has never played it in every group, so it is always a blast!

And after a night with us, we all get up and exercise like normal!  It is just so good to have our normal routine the day we leave the mission!

The Gospel of Jesus Christ will forever bless our lives and the lives of all who allow it.
We pray for ever deepening conversion for all of us as we keep BECOMING who we NEED to be!  LOVE YOU! and MISS YOU!!
