Our Canadian Cowboy Returns

 We had a fun visit with Tye Barrett and his folks last Saturday.  He drove down from Alberta Canada and they had flown here for a race they were involved in, so we all met up at the Phoenix Temple site.  It was a chilly, cloudy day in Phoenix; it has been that was this winter.

It was wonderful to see Tye again and to meet his folks.  They were so much fun to visit with, we can see why he is such a great person!

 It was sort of like old times...except that Tye totally looked like a Canadian Cowboy!

We loved it!

 We kept him for the night and dragged him all over Phoenix with us...first to the Goodwill...

...yes, he humored us in that...

...looking to try to outfit up to 30 new apartments for our wave of incoming missionaries!  The floodgates of missionaries have opened and they are pouring into the mission field in record numbers this spring and summer!

We actually found a whole bunch of things here that will really help the mission budget.  We are trying our best to do our part in opening up these apartments as inexpensively as possible.

Then we took him to Chino Bandidos for dinner...an interesting mix of China and Mexico that works!

Some things never change.  Tye was always on the ball and super organized as an Assistant, and he is that way in real life.  It was great to spend time with you Tye!
