ZONE CONFERENCE- Buckeye/Goodyear Zone 2/13/13

Today we met with the great BUCKEYE/GOODYEAR ZONE!

It was a full day of conference with lessons and activities constantly!

We met in the Buckeye Stake Center.  It is new and so beautiful!

 After a morning session including Jacob 5- the Olive Tree Allegory/ Health lesson on Safe Practices/ Teaching with Visuals/ and Member Present Lessons, it was time for LUNCH BREAK!

Awesome Taco salads were the meal and we ate a lot!  They were SO GOOD!

 The cupcakes for dessert left some missionaries with bright pink tongues!

 We bring the Mission Flag and they love to look for their signature on in.  It is getting so full!!  Hope there is room for the 200+ missionaries yet to come to this mission before we leave!

 We celebrate birthdays for January and February.





HAPPY FEBRUARY BIRTHDAYS TO ELDERS POLLMEIER AND Q. WILSON!!!

 This is PURE LOVE as we all wear the HEART RINGS that were on the cupcakes for dessert.

Now, that's a LOT OF LOVE!!!

 For the afternoon session we started with a beautiful musical number with Sisters Young, Fluckiger, Elders Meredith, Finklea and Shelton and Elder Heiner on piano.
SUPER TALENTED!!
Music brings the Spirit of the Holy Ghost to our meetings.

 President Taylor took this group on a little "Field Trip" outside, so we pretended we were in Primary and walked down the hall with our arms folded...it was so cute!

 President taught us about trees and using supports to help them grow straight and tall and protected as they are young and getting a straight foundation of roots.
Those that we teach who are just brand new need: to pray/ to read the Book of Mormon/ to attend Church.
As they progress they need: members helping/ the missionaries guiding things/ the Holy Ghost bearing witness of truth.
As they are newly baptized they need: a friend/ a job in the Church/ to be nourished by the Good Word of God through scripture study, classes, visiting with friends, attending church, listening to General Conference etc. etc. etc.

WE ALL NEED TO BE NOURISHED BY THE GOOD WORD!  We need to LET it nourish us!


We had great teachings by Zone Leaders Hamblin and Dunn.
We were taught the Doctrine of Christ by the Assistants.
We practiced everything we were taught.
We shared testimonies of the Savior Jesus Christ.

We did it with people we know, trust and love.
WHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN BEING A MISSIONARY NOW!
