Departing Missionaries May 2013

As I type, 23 new missionaries are resting/napping in the mission home.
They have big shoes to fill from the 13 who returned home today from serving faithfully in the Arizona Phoenix Mission!

We hosted 13 wonderful sons and daughters here at the Mission Home the night before their departure.
It is always fun to see where your name is on the Temple Quilt hanging in the hallway...it is getting really big, and will need to have some additional rows added on to fit our ever growing missionary force!

 We take our departing missionaries over to see the Phoenix temple before they leave.  This time was great because they got to see it with Moroni on top!

 We let go13 amazing missionaries!  Sisters Pousima, Harding, Robinson, Bruckman and Hawkins.  Elders Neves, K. Gerber, Hilton, Hall, S. Larsen, Harline, Griffin and Hastings.

SURPRISE!

We had a great testimony meeting with the Mission Presidency and then FHE with our family.
We always end playing "Don't Eat Pete" the best game ever!

 Hermana Zayas and Presidente Zayas got in on the game tonight!

We took a new photo...going UP instead of the one as they come DOWN when they arrive!

And how appropriate!  These wonderful people are GOING UP and on in their living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Joy in the Journey!
