MISSION LEADERSHIP COUNCIL May 2013

We held the first of our Mission Leadership Councils today...formerly called Zone Leader Council, but re-named by the Missionary Department due to the addition of Sister Training Leaders.
President Taylor started the day with a great lesson on REPENTANCE.  We love knowing that repentance is so basic, so necessary and so healing and happy.

 We are still able to squeeze our mission leaders into our family room...and hope that continues in the future as this mission continues to grow in size.

We LOVE having missionaries in our home always!

 At lunchtime we celebrate the birthdays for the month.  We celebrated Sister Turville from April since we missed singing to her last month, and she was joined by Elders Hilton, Tucker, Robinson and Vaoga with MAY birthdays.

Believe me, they get excited about this meal.  I thought that this one was a masterpiece!  Looks sort of like a face...

 We were joined for lunch by our "MOVING ELDERS" currently assigned to help us in the gathering of acquired housewares/furniture for missionary apartments, which is a BIG JOB right now.  Our members here are AMAZING and have been donating anything we need for missionary apartments!  We are making sure they are all set and that we have plenty on hand to open new apartments each transfer this summer!

We had a great "planner activity" where we exchanged planners to see how we were really doing at our planning...we learned from each other and got some great ideas on how to make our vision become a reality through goal setting, planning and accountability.

We trust these missionaries.  They teach and train and LOVE all those in their stewardship.  We know that they represent President Taylor as they take what they learn at council back to their zone.
