is always a great experience. Today we participated in "sealing" ordinances in the temple. This is binding families together for eternity. It was very special for us with the Assistants to participate in these sacred ordinances and particularly for President Taylor and myself to remember the promises we have made ourselves.
It was also good for the Assistants to hear promises made to faithful couples and their children. They have so much to look forward to!
When we were done, look who I met in the locker room! Former Sister Palolo Eteaki!!! We keep running into her at the temple. And how that warms our heart to know that is where she goes for strength too! She is so beautiful, and so happy! So glad to see her again!
Our current Assistants, Elders Griffin and Campbell in the bright sun of Mesa! They have been wonderful! We rely on them for so much here in the great APM! We will miss Elder Griffin when he leaves this coming week...but know he is on to even greater things!
Look how beautiful the flowers already are by the temple. It was such a pretty day!
The Mesa Temple is just beautiful! We hope you get to see it in person someday!
We love even more the promises and blessings that come with making covenants with the Lord in his temples. The promises of living the Gospel of Jesus Christ are sure. Temples have always been a part of God's plan for us. We are thankful to have one so close to us and another being built even closer!
