Looks like someone is getting ready to go on a mission! Well, these 5 great missionaries have been on their missions for 12 weeks now and we had the privilege of training them here in the ARIZONA PHOENIX MISSION as they waited for their Visas to Australia.Elder Godfrey needed a little trim to be ready to meet his new Mission President, so we did the finishing touches in the Mission Home.
We had them over for a departing dinner and then sent them on their way for overnight flights to Melbourne and Adelaide. We love these Visa waiting missionaries and it is really hard to let them go once we get to know them. We remember things about them long after they leave and hope to cross paths with them down the road.
As some of you may have remembered, our son Braden is currently companions in New Zealand with one of our former Visa Waiting Missionaries, Elder Adams, who was with us for 5 1/2 months. What a tender mercy of the Lord!
