We just finished the Christmas Season with all our family here in Arizona. President's Mother came down first, and then our daughter Jenna and her two little ones; Carter and Bennett. We really enjoyed sharing our missionaries with Carter. He is two and has seen missionaries in his home ward in New Jersey. First they joined us at a youth fireside down in Goodyear with our missionaries down there. Carter was patient with that non-2-year-old-friendly activity. I think he watched "Sandlot" on a mini DVD player during the fireside :)
We then invited our Assistants to spend time on Christmas Eve, part of it dressed as Santas. Carter was delighted...and it was funny seeing the elders pull off not really holding him on their laps. In Santa's bag for Carter were a couple of small toys . . . and a "Restoration" DVD . . . and, of course, a pass-along card.
Then we got to have a couple of missionaries in our home on Christmas for international calls home. Sisters Glenn and Lautiki came over for a while dressed so cute and Christmasy......and Elder Vaoga was SO CUTE with Carter, pinning his tag on him and teasing him. You could tell he left nieces and nephews back home that really must miss him.
We loved sharing Christmas and our family with a few of the missionaries!

I'm so glad that you got to see some of your family over Christmas. You are doing such a great service for all the missionaries!
