As we came into transfer meeting with the new missionaries and their trainers...we were greeted by singing...they had been singing hymns just to get in the spirit of the meeting...
...and then with a rousing "CALLED TO SERVE...our new missionaries and trainers walked up onto the stand.
They sing with such enthusiasm that you cannot help but feel the spirit of missionary work! It is the best!
Once all the trainers/trainees are on the stand we start. Each new missionary is introduced and then they share a brief testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ.
After this, other testimonies were shared by members of the office staff and Sister and President Taylor.
Then the new assignments are announced!
New companionships like Elders Rivas and L. Johnson are formed.
All their "STUFF," which has been waiting outside during the meeting, is then loaded in the appropriate vehicles to take to the new locations.
It is a fun time to renew acquaintances with past companions and friends in the mission.
It is time for exciting changes in the mission...like sending Sisters up to Prescott! You go, Sisters Falke and Bruckman!
There is nothing as constant as change.
Change brings about growth!
