You all know that the Arizona Phoenix Mission is the #1 Mission in the World...but do you know one of the reasons why? It is because of our stellar OFFICE MISSIONARIES!!!
Since our arrival the end of June we have grown to love our office couples so very much...but as I mentioned in the post about transfers..."There is nothing as constant as change." And our office is no exception. Our dear Elder and Sister Cherry have served faithfully the past year and are moving on in their service.
Elder Cherry has been our housing coordinator/all purpose man! He helped transport missionaries back and forth to the airport each transfer...
He and Sister Cherry served each day in the office...and out of the office. It was pretty much a 24/7 thing for them both! They were always going to concerts or activities involving our missionaries because they are a huge part of their lives!
Elder Cherry also masterminded the now-famous "APM Farmers Market" which provides fresh produce, bread and frozen foods to our missionaries on a regular basis. It has been a blessing to our mission. Here is a summer photo of the Cherrys with their track-runner granddaughters after a food drop at the mission home!
Then there is Sister Cherry...She keeps things running in the office. Mail did not scare her and she could answer about any question a caller could think of...and she got some crazy calls!!! It was pretty great that she was a registered nurse too :)

We welcome the Kiggins to our office staff to take on the service after the Cherrys!!! They are DELIGHTFUL! They have lots of energy and are a perfect fit for the jobs! The Lord knows who we need and has them ready when we need them! We are blessed already by their love and dedication!
