It is hard to believe it is already January and Zone Council time.
Today we had a great start to the new year with discussion about the goals for this new year and where we are going as a mission. Our leadership in this mission is incredible. They are mature and caring and truly love those they serve, including and especially the Lord.
We always celebrate upcoming birthdays, and we had Elders Blackhurst and Sheets who will have January birthdays.
We also always have a great lunchtime for them to visit and renew acquaintances. Today we thought it would be appropriate to serve soups...being January and all...and I ended up turning on the AC since it became so warm in the house with natural heat!
Many ate outside and you can see how jackets were not required.
It made me laugh to see all their jackets on chairs as they ate lunch...outside...in JANUARY!
It was a productive day in the Arizona Phoenix Mission! Thank you again parents for your missionaries! They are faithful, obedient and service oriented.
