One of the great privileges of being Mission President is that you get to go to the temple each 6 weeks before transfers to serve others and ask His help in making the right choices for those transfers.
This has been a blessing to us. We are able to take our Assistants; Elders Henrie and Bird, along for this and it is a highlight of our month.
We could hardly believe it was January as we enjoyed the lovely weather outside the temple.
And it was warm enough to merit a visit to a new find...Bahama Bucks, operated by an LDS family, and near the temple in Mesa, where we got delicious Hawaiian style shave ice.
And yes, President was drinking and driving on our way home!
