Friday we had Interview Session with the DEER VALLEY/GLENDALE NORTH ZONE.
The Rodgers came bringing bags of caramel corn as a snack, and to do car inspections and referral check-ups. We love and appreciate our office missionaries so very much! No way we could function without them!!! They rewarded our bike elders with a treat and car drivers with clean car awards!
Zone Leaders, Elders Griffin and Bolton, led a disccussion on zone unity and did a great object lesson on bearing each others burdens...literally! It was really neat. Sisters got our own circle of unity and we held our own!!
After my discussion and the zone leaders discussion, we went into the gym for "Game Time With Sister Taylor" as President affectionately calls it.
We played our HOLLYWOOD SQUARES manners game and learned a lot...while being very silly in celebrity costumes.
Elder Hall played the contestant Paul Policia and Sister Chord was Patty Perfect!
We mixed things up halfway through so everyone had a chance to dress up!
President Taylor had all the District Leaders talk with their missionaries to work on some District goals for October and November.
We have incredible District Leaders!
We also celebrated October Birthdays...HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Sister Chord, Elder Skalka and Elder Buechter.
