Look who showed up at the Phoenix Airport on Thursday on his way to Salt Lake!!
Yes, it was a real map crosser trying to get Robert Falconer from Toronto to Salt Lake.
We were thrilled he arranged to meet us at the airport for his layover and it worked well for us as we were on our way to interviews in S. Phoenix that day!
WE LOVE YOU ROBERT!
Sat. Oct 20 we had a lovely visit from Trent Anderson and his Mother. They were gracious enough to wait for us to be done with our dinner appointment with the visiting General Authorities so we could spend some time with them before they headed up to Prescott for the night.
There is something so special about that visit to check back in after you have been home for a while. We love the perspective of our returned missionaries. It helps us meet the needs of our current missionaries when our returned missionaries share with us what they have learned, what they miss, what they are looking forward to in their lives.
WE LOVE YOU TRENT!
We had a second visit from our dear Kenny Mortimer! His wife was helping family in St George...and it was close enough for a quick trip down to the mission! We were so glad to see him! We had lunch and then took him over to the temple site so he could see the progress since he left. Considering it was a hole in the ground at that point, it is incredible now!
WE LOVE YOU KENNY and can't wait to meet Kara!
We met up with another returned missionary over at the Mesa Temple for the special occasion of attending the temple session of one of her converts. Incidentally, Brother Nelson's baptism was the first that I went to when we arrived in the mission 16 months ago!
It is a wonderful experience to see our dear friends remain strong in their faith in Jesus Christ!
WE LOVE YOU PALOLO!!
Love it when our returned missionaries take time to come and say hello!
