Fall doesn't come easy to Arizona...no pretty fall leaves falling down and no pumpkin patches by the sides of the roads...the sun blazes each day and it is still pretty hot, but evenings are cooling down and they can import pumpkins!
The Peoria Zone Leaders asked if we could host a Pumpkin carving activity, and we were delighted!
Putting carving knives in the hands of all those missionaries was a little nerve wracking though! (Elder Baldree on right)
I insisted that they were too hard and that he would not be able to hollow it out and carve it, but he had done it before...oh ME of little faith!!!
He shared a pumpkin with Sister Fluckiger.
I collected the seeds and roasted them for a snack later.

President Taylor did a very cool pumpkin. He is master pumpkin carver at our house!!This year it is the symbol of Moroni blowing the trump, the picture we have as our Arizona Phoenix Mission logo.
