APRIL VISITORS

This is not a chronological addition of photos to our April visitors...but this is how they downloaded and I don't have time to fix it!

Anyways, before you all think that Elder Nelson came to our Mission Home, know that we spent last weekend in our twice-annual Mission President Seminar over in Scottsdale and were blessed to have Elder Nelson join our group of 20 Mission Presidents and Wives.  We had an amazing two days of instruction at the hands of 4 General Authorities.  What we all do is of great importance...and I am speaking to ALL OF US!
One of the most important things that President Taylor and I do is to keep in touch with our returned missionaries.  I hope you understand that they are "family" forever in our eyes!  We look forward to seeing them get sealed in the temple, raise families, bless babies, have children baptized, children serve missions,  and on and on!

We were GRATEFUL to have visits from Zack Northrup and to see how wonderful he is doing and to meet his great parents!  So fun to put a face with people we have known about for a couple years!

We also had Ben Juchau come back for a long awaited visit!  Just as happy as ever!  Seemed so natural to have him come into the mission home after all the times he has been here on the mission.

Both these young people are happy and doing so great!  We are blessed every day to associate with amazing people.  For every thing that is hard, the Lord makes up for it 100 fold!!!  That is the beauty of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the lesson of the Atonement.

We love having friends come visit here in the Mission Home!

Early in April we had several other visitors.  We welcomed our dear friends, Richard and Maxine Jensen who recently returned home to Utah from serving in the Rochester New York Mission office.  They could relate to what we are doing here and it was delightful to reacquaint!  The cool thing is that Elder Rodgers Sister and Brother-in-law are now serving in the place of the Jensens in that NY mission!!
We took them to the Mesa Temple Easter Pageant and it was a great night!

We also had a visit from Tosha Brown, one of our returned Sister missionaries.  She is teaching school up in Idaho and was on Spring break.  She is joined by a friend from Phoenix, Eric.
We had a great visit with them!

It is heartwarming to see how well our returned missionaries are doing!  They love and live what they taught on their missions and are happy as a result!

We also had a visit that night from Tye Barrett.  Didn't get a photo this time...but I think he will be back.  He is sort of commuting between Texas and Canada with his job for a while and we hope he will stop in again to visit!

We just had a wonderful visit from Heather Belnap, one of our energetic returned Sister missionaries!  We had been looking forward to this for a long time!  One of our AZ ward missionaries, Sarah,  came along to give her a ride...some things never change :)
Heather is doing great!  one of the things we discussed is how her mission gave her experience that has blessed her life in so many ways.  She knows how to plan her time, work hard, talk with everyone, and so on.
MISSIONS ARE THE BEST!
