When the BYU sport teams go on the road, they often do firesides to inspire and encourage the youth and families.This past month we were asked if one of our current missionaries could come share his testimony at one of these firesides when his BYU Lacrosse team was in town playing.
We took Elder Wardle, former team member of the BYU Lacrosse Team to speak and participate.
It was great to meet his coach and to hear his great testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ and how the Gospel helps us in our lives.
He looked pretty sharp among his teammates.
Most of the team are returned missionaries, with several waiting on calls to serve missions.
They were able to share in word and song, their testimonies of the power and strength we receive as we follow the teachings of Jesus Christ in our lives.
We can be happy as we live the commandments of God.
We are all missionaries in the example we set as members of this complete and restored Church of Jesus Christ!
May we actively look for ways to share the Gospel with those that we come in contact with each day.
