DEER VALLEY/GLENDALE N Zone INTERVIEWS 4/13

We started off this week of Interview days with the Deer Valley/Glendale North Zone.

As you can see, they have WAY TOO MUCH ENERGY!  So we had to do "Once there was a Snowman" to get even more energy!

 This was an energizing and amazing day of interviews.  What a mix of great young people.  Several of them are brand new missionaries...but you would never know it!  They are all just sharp!


Elder Rodgers did his vehicle safety and clean car awards.  He really keeps our cars in great shape and holds the missionaries accountable for caring for them and for being safe!  We love that the Rodgers come to Interviews with us!

We had 5 hours for sort of a Mini Zone Conference with this zone. I got to teach on several subjects, some great discussions and testimonies and of course, a GAME.

We brought back last year's CLEANING RELAY after older missionaries asked to do it again.

It was a lot of fun!

 Elder B Jones did a "Granny shot"  probably in my honor...

We also went out and filmed all over the mission last month...asking missionaries to perform all the cleaning tasks on their daily, weekly and monthly cleaning lists.  From "making your bed" to "cleaning toilets" we have it all on film!
We watched the video and enjoyed seeing mission friends.

 We celebrated March and April birthdays...

Whew!  That was a lot of missionaries to remember in one glance!  We currently have about 215 missionaries, over half of whom have been here less than 6 months!

President Taylor came in and did a short object lesson on "Lifting Where You Stand" and with one hand, the zone easily lifted a piano.  It was really cool.
We know that our mission boundaries are changing this summer, and that we can make a difference wherever we are serving!
