We were invited to bring Braden to join in the West Maricopa Zone street hockey activity on Preparation Day this week.
Braden was all about joining in...and I just fiddled around a bit for fun...and ended up being the photog!
Bishop Brown brought all the sticks and nets for the event, having served his mission in Canada and developing a love for the sport there.
He is joined by fellow Canadian, Elder Gorham.
In the green shirt, is another Canadian, Sister Baumgartner, who played hockey in college before the mission. No messing with her!!
I was delighted at what a good workout the missionaries got playing hockey. No stick injuries...just a lot of running and sweating...and sore muscles the next day from using them differently.
