COTTONWOOD INTERVIEWS 1/13

PLEASE CLICK ON THIS LINE FOR ALL PHOTOS OF THIS DAY!

We drove over the mountain to the COTTONWOOD ZONE for the Friday afternoon interview session.  We were so happy to meet with them and to share in their great spirit!
We had a small group since Elder Wheelwright was sick and his companion Elder Janzen had to stay with him...this left us only 9 elders to interact with.  In other words, they had some very good practice and attention.
They came up with really great key learnings after our SPEED CONTACTING activity and our discussion on FINDING.
Look up Alma 31:34-35 and see what those two verses mean to you.  They mean very much to us in the Arizona Phoenix Mission!  They give us confidence to bring people AGAIN to something and someone they knew before this life.  It is our duty to INVITE others to come unto Christ.

May we all take this challenge.  FINDING is not just for fulltime missionaries.  It should be the CORE of who we all are.

Elder Rodgers awarded some great CLEAN CAR AWARDS in the zone and taught safety and rules for vehicles.
We had a lot of fun playing our CHUTES AND LADDERS while we learned about budgeting and nutrition at the same time...we are all just big kids anyways!

The great Zone Leaders, Elders Lancaster and Hilton, led skills training on teaching prayer and discussed our Mission Action Plan or "MAP." that we came up with as a mission leadership after our Mission Tour and Leadership this fall.  Great things are happening as a result of following the goals we have set as a mission.
Out relationship with God is key.  If we can teach that to people first thing, they know who to turn to, to find out if the Gospel is true and to ask for help and to thank for their blessings.

We really practice what we preach...literally.

THANK YOU FOR A GREAT INTERVIEW MONTH!  BEST MISSION EVER!!!
