JANUARY VISITORS

The NEW YEAR brought us some great gifts...

A visit from MASON HALLIGAN and BRAYDEN HENRIE!
They are doing wonderful...still happy and obedient young men, doing the right things, loving and serving.
They were in town for a short visit and to go to the Fiesta Bowl (which they invited President Taylor to go to).

It was wonderful to have them in the Mission Home for a while and to catch up a bit.  Best just to SEE THEM IN PERSON AGAIN!

And on Jan 2 we got to see our very own Michelle Winchell again...this time with her friend, Kurt.  We were excited that they got to come over Christmas break to see Michelles folks who are our TEMPLE MISSIONARIES here in Phoenix!
We look forward to seeing Michelle when school is out in April!

Saturday Jan 19, we met up with three families.

First we had a visit from Karalee Glenn and her fiance Aaron, who is from the area.  They offered to come help us take down our Christmas lights...since they came and helped us put them up in November as well!!  Didn't take pictures, but we are SO EXCITED that they will be living in the area and will be our friends!  We have a date for lunch next month, and for putting up lights next November :)

Next we had a visit from the Peterson family, their Elder Peterson is currently serving here.  We love meeting the families of our missionaries!  They were wonderful!  Brother Cooper has his mission call to Guatemala and will be a fantastic missionary.  He is humble and teachable...lots like his big brother, in other words, HE WILL BE AMAZING!!
We found that the Petersons knew my uncle who lived in Blackfoot many years ago...small world!

Last we had Matt Trussell visit again...he keeps on being involved in baptisms from the last area he served in LAST FEBRUARY!  I love that our missionaries keep involved in the lives of their investigators and keep loving and encouraging them from home!  Matt has been a great example to us in that way!  We loved meeting his Dad this trip!  Hope to see him again in a couple months for another baptism or temple trip!

We get so attached to our missionaries, that it is really therapeutic to see them again!
THANK YOU FOR COMING TO SEE US!!
