W. Maricopa Interview Day 1/13

PLEASE CLICK ON THIS LINE FOR ALL PHOTOS OF THIS DAY!

We started off the week right with interviews in the great WEST MARICOPA ZONE!
We had a great afternoon with them...4 hours of car inspections, teaching and training...

...and of course, they each got private time with President Taylor to talk about their goals for the year.
We had a wonderful training on "FINDING" as we have had in the other zones so far.  We did a practice teaching activity called SPEED CONTACTING that even Sister Rodgers from the office joined in with us to participate in.  She is BOLD!

We have learned that Finding is the core of who we are as representatives of Jesus Christ.  Our brothers and sisters here on this earth are all at different places in their journey to find the Gospel.  We know that we each chose Jesus Christ once, before we came here to earth, so we are reminded of something familiar.
And we know that FINDING is the core of what we do in missionary service.  It is part of who we are.  And this applies long after our formal missionary service!  We are always finding how to help our brothers and sisters return to Jesus Christ.
One of our parts of interviews is having Elder Rodgers come and train on safety and car inspections.  He does a fantastic job.  We LOVE the CLEAN CAR AWARDS!!
And, as usual, the missionaries were patient with Sister  Taylor and her tradition of using games to teach the practical lessons of life.

This month was a LIFESIZE CHUTES AND LADDERS to learn about budgeting and making good choices in this area.
