We start each month with a council of the leaders of each of our 11 Zones along with our Assistants and President Morris and today, Elder Cherry and Sister King from the Office/Presidency.
It was a great day of instruction beginning with a study of Jacob Chapter 5 about the allegory of the OLIVE TREE! Check that one out!
We celebrated February birthdays including Elders Pollmeier and Bolton...
...and finally President Morris, whose birthday was actually yesterday!
Lunch is always a favorite time of the day, a chance to eat and socialize, one thing all missionaries do very well. No classes needed there!
Today we had "Naanvajo Tacos" Our version of the Navajo frybread being some good Naan bread that we found...works like a charm!
See the goodness of this plate? And the one time of year that I make sugar cookies is for VALENTINES DAY! And this year, the missionaries are our sweethearts!
So many happy faces getting to pile up on food!
And, beautiful January weather in Phoenix, outside in a little chilly, but perfect day!
6 New Zone Leaders from last month that I did not get a photo of:
Elders Dunn, Marble, Robinson, D. Gerber, Hall and Hilton. They have been doing GREAT!!!
And, 2 great new leaders!
WELCOME ELDER S. Larsen and Vaoga!!
Back to some great teaching and then PRACTICE TEACHING! President Morris is a willing "investigator" as Elders Weston and Miller try to teach to his needs.
And all over the Mission Home we had sets of teachers and investigators practicing teaching.
They really do a great job and ask really good questions to get to know people.
We love being a part of this great work.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is REAL and TRUE.
It is worth the effort to figure out how to help people come to the realization that Jesus IS the Christ and that he did teach the way for us to return to live with Heavenly Father.
We are HAPPY as we choose to follow the Doctrine of Christ.
