We just love having these specialized trainings with each zone while President does interviews.
I love teaching the Gospel and Missionary skills and this interview training was no different.
Role Playing is one of the things that allows us to know we can do something...there is great power in just trying something. So our SPEED CONTACTING activity was a great success. We told who we are and what we do. We asked questions. We testified. We INVITED! We followed the Spirit.
This is what it is about. BRINGING our brothers and Sisters back to Jesus Christ.
Our practical lesson of the day was on budgeting using the missionary budget provided from the Church...it is lean, but very doable. We learned that following the guidelines, we can eat healthy and follow a budget. We are not to use our debit or emergency cards from home for any food...they are truly only for emergency use. We are learning skills that will benefit us for a lifetime.
The Zone Leaders, Elders Bolton and Marble led a great skills training on our Mission Action Plan and January focus. They are humble and great examples of what they teach!
We know that the most important connection that anyone has is with their Father in Heaven. We try to teach very quickly the importance of a personal relationship with Him.
Teaching prayer is a wonderful and thought provoking lesson. We know our Father lives and loves us and listens to us!
GREAT JOB DEERVALLEY/GLENDALE N. ZONE!!!
