In the afternoon, we welcomed two new Zones to the training. About 50 at a time are coming to train with us.
It was like an early Christmas with the boxes full of iPad minis!
IT IS ALL ABOUT PLANNING!
As we plan better, and the devices are programmed to help us do that even better and more efficiently, we should have more time to be teaching and serving others.
Here are another about 50 of our missionaries ready to take it DIGITAL!
They are trusted, they are obedient. This is what the prophet has asked them to do and they are ready and willing. It is not easy...it will be A LOT OF WORK to program in 5 years worth of paper area book records...but they are willing to do it!
You have incredible children/friends to be able to take this on. Thank you for what you have done to prepare them! This experience will bless their lives as they know how to appropriately manage their time online, how to keep things clean and organized. I know that they are a chosen generation saved for this time and for this purpose!

Sister Taylor, I love your blog. We'd never get the same information from our missionaries and in this much detail. It's a lifeline for me as a missionary mom. In the future could you have your photographer take special care in taking pictures of Elder Thompson. Apparently the photogenic gene skipped a generation! He's not going to be very happy knowing I've shared his picture with his friends and family!

Well...I am also the photographer and I just take random photos usually. We hope we get some of each and every missionary at interviews and zone conference lunches...but other than that, it is luck of the draw! We sure do love Elder Thompson, he is just AWESOME!
