Third day this week of interviews...you would think we get tired of it, but really, it was different every day and with every zone.
The Glendale Zone was another great day!
I started off with a discussion first about things i am PASSIONATE ABOUT. It was fun to ask the missionaries and see what they think I am passionate about. They were pretty much right on! I did have to remind some of them that PRESIDENT TAYLOR is in that list!!
We were introduced to the new program called ADJUSTING TO MISSIONARY LIFE.

If you click on the link above, you can then log into your LDS Account in order to view it.
The Church has a program that begins now pre-mission and continues in the MTC and then infield with us. It is a GREAT resource that I recommend you look up online at lds.org in the PDF file. It is good for any changes in life...job, calling, family status, college, etc.
We are excited to learn this with our missionaries!
We even got President Juchau into the act a couple of times!
The Zone Leaders led a great discussion on Dress and Grooming as well as one on how we can share some ideas on ONLINE PROSELYTING.
The mission in general is hitting that point where the excitement of being online is being replaced with the reality that THIS IS REALLY HARD.
We are pioneers in this forum but doing SO GOOD at figuring out how to plan and make this time more productive and focused.
Thank you for helping your missionary stay on task and by not messaging or distracting them from their purpose.
As in every interview day, we had a GAME WITH A PURPOSE. Today it was manners!
I brought back SOCKBALL after a 2 year wait! Yes, it got a bit active, but was so much fun.
And, I apologize to Elder Nelsons Mom that he got a floor burn hole in his suit pants!!! I did send over mending tape to iron on to fix them :(
Ask your missionary if they learned anything new in the game.
We left with the idea that this game would be really good for missionaries to teach to the youth at Mutual or Seminary. We are trying to THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX as it is!
We celebrated our SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER birthdays today.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO:
Sister Hutchinson
Sister Hansen
Elder Parsons
President got to interview personally, each missionary in the zone. This was the most important thing we got done today.
What amazing people we get to associate with! Each one is meant to be here, and we love them so very much! Thank you for your support and love and prayers!!

No problem about the hole! He's loving his mission....a little hole in the pants will never change that!
